What prompted you to join our company?

In my previous job, I worked as a sales administrator at a gardening store that sold plants. While I found it rewarding to handle both customer service and administrative tasks, I decided to change jobs because I wanted to advance my career at a larger company.
My motivation for joining the company was the management vision I saw on Daio's website during my job search: ”Continuing to grow as a company that improves, supports, and cheers on the ”quality of life for our employees'." This vision attracted me, and I wanted to work in a company that contributes to the quality of life for its employees.

What is your current job?

My main job is general administrative work for the "Measurement System Development Business." I handle material procurement, data entry into production management systems, and the creation of estimates and invoices.
In addition, as part of the HR and General Affairs department, I am involved in activities to improve the work environment. For example, to promote employee human resource development, I am responsible for procedures such as the Human Resources Development Support Grant, planning and operating company anniversary events, and organizing training programs for new and junior employees. Furthermore, as an environmental committee member, I am advancing paperless and digital initiatives.
While engaging in these various tasks, I also consider efficiency on a daily basis, proposing and implementing improvements to my superiors and relevant parties.

What's the company atmosphere like?

I've been with the company for five years now. When I first joined, I felt the atmosphere was very serious and quiet. However, as I've had more opportunities to interact with people from various departments for work, my impression has changed. While many people are still serious about their work, they are also all very kind, creating a very harmonious atmosphere. During breaks, lunch, and social gatherings like drinking parties, the atmosphere is bright and lively.
Since the company's employees are all interesting people once you talk to them, I actively try to strike up conversations.

What do you find rewarding about your job?

Last fiscal year, I was the main person in charge of the anniversary event, and I was responsible for planning and operating it. As in previous years, we ordered a lavish lunch and all employees ate together. I received many positive comments from employees, such as "The bento box was delicious" and "I enjoyed it this year because it came with dessert and tea."
In our company, we're like the unsung heroes, supporting from behind the scenes. That's why seeing employees happy is what drives us. We aim to continue improving employee satisfaction and will explore various initiatives going forward.

What prompted you to join our company?

In my previous job, I was in charge of material ordering, and I was involved in procurement and delivery schedule adjustments. While looking to broaden my scope of work by utilizing that experience, I learned about the job opening for quotation creation at Daio Electric and applied because I was eager to be involved. Also, since I handled measuring instruments in my previous job, I thought that the measuring instrument calibration service business would be a good fit, allowing me to utilize my knowledge and contribute to the work.

What is your current job?

Currently, I am primarily in charge of shipping operations, including shipment checks and invoicing. For shipment checks, I ensure all quantities are accounted for, that proofreading labels are not forgotten, and that there are no accessories missing or damaged items. I strive to ensure that proofread items are shipped accurately and smoothly. For invoicing, I process based on delivery content and am careful to avoid any omissions in proofreading documents or errors in amounts.

What's the company atmosphere like?

I feel the environment is calm, allowing me to focus on my work. Collaboration with colleagues is important for shipping and billing tasks. The smooth communication and ease of consultation and discussion with my coworkers contribute to a comfortable working environment. I also get the impression that everyone takes their responsibilities seriously, making it a workplace where I can approach my tasks with peace of mind.

What prompted you to join our company?

In my previous role, I was in charge of sales in the construction industry, focusing on proposing products that met customer needs. It was more of a passive sales style. While I received appreciation, I gradually came to want to challenge myself with more proactive sales activities, such as connecting proposals to problem-solving.
Also, as I was considering a job change in preparation for my upcoming marriage, I came across your company's opening, which allows for a wide range of sales activities while engaging with various industries. I felt that in this environment, I could leverage my past sales experience and also grow as an individual through proactive proposals, which led me to decide to join your company.

What is your current job?

I am primarily engaged in sales of "calibration services" for measuring instruments used at our customers' manufacturing and development sites.
Calibration is the process of confirming the current status (accuracy and functionality) of measuring instruments, and it is an important job that supports manufacturing sites.
We carefully listen to the unique challenges and needs of our clients in each industry and propose proofreading services tailored to their specific situations.

What's the company atmosphere like?

Our workplace values teamwork above all else. When we achieve a goal, we celebrate together, and when things don't go as planned, we openly share our opinions regardless of our positions to find better solutions and make improvements.
Daily encouragement and support were also active, and although I was anxious right after joining the company at the time, I was able to work with peace of mind, encouraged by the warm support of those around me.
This cooperative atmosphere leads to a comfortable work environment and growth.

What do you find rewarding about your job?

The rewarding aspect of my job is that I'm not confined to a set sales method; I can think and act on my own initiative to achieve my goals.
I get a great sense of accomplishment when my proposals are accepted.
Furthermore, we propose proofreading services, which are essential for manufacturing, so we are often thanked and have connections with a wide range of industries.
I think being able to feel involved in improving the quality of various products we see on the streets is a unique joy of this job.
